From Egremont in Cumbria, Marc was winner of the 1993 MMCC Newcomers Junior Race, he moved to the TT in 1994. A health and safety officer he went on to win the 750cc class of the Production TT in 1997 despite falling off at Ramsey hairpin, got back on with no visor and still finished 4th overall. He won the 750cc Production Race again in 1998.

Marc lapped at over 120mph on Honda Britain RC45's (97 TT, F1& Senior)

Marc also took sixth in the 1998 Junior. Missing in 1999, he returned in 2000, but appeared to have left his 'luck' at home, failing to finish in either the Formula One or Junior Races.
