Biography
A chargehand fitter from Workington, Rob first rode in the TT in 1993 and took the Newcomers Award. He followed this with double victories in 1994 and 1995 and finished second in both races in 1996. His next victory came in 1997 and in 1999 he finished second in the first race and won Race B. In 2000 on his 600 Baker Honda outfit, he completed his third double to take his number of victories to eight. His lap at 110.71mph makes him the second fastest sidecar rider ever.
