Biography

W. Peden was my late father who died in 1967 from Cancer. I was only 8 years old at the time but can remember his love of bikes.

His full name was William Irvine Peden but was known to everyone as Bill Peden. He was born on 15th April 1925 in Glasgow, Scotland.

He mainly raced 125cc and 250cc. He was successful as I still have a large cup he won at Cadwell Park in 1958.I also have some mementos given to him for his TT races.

According to my Mother some of the racers of his era were Sammy Miller, Mike Hailwood and Alan Pavey.
