Biography

John Getty Born 1952 in Nelson, Lancashire.

The 500 Laverda Montjuic that John rode and finished on in the Formula 2 TT race was bought as a total insurance write off 10 days earlier, he straightened the frame, fitted Suzuki 750 yolks, forks brakes and front wheel and was on the boat to IOM within a week of bringing it home in a van. . . !
