Biography
Les Rowe describes himself as an ‘also ran’, who fell in love with the Isle of Man and the TT!
Born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1962, Les was to become South Australian 125cc Champion in 1982 and 1983 and runner in the years 1984, 1986 and 1988.
In the Sidecar Championship of 1986 he finished third
Married with two children, Leonard and Royce, Les was admitted as a legal practitioner with the South Australian Supreme Court and Australian High Court in 1986, he retired from racing in 1990, following a high speed accident and having established his own legal practice.
Prior to hanging up his leathers, Les finished third in the 125cc Australian Grand Prix in 1986 and competed in the Isle of Man.
He was also a Judicial Panel Member of the FIM in 1987.
