Biography
Dave is a director of the Canadian International Motorcycle Heritage Museum Foundation and has been a road racer from 1963 (mainly in Canada and the USA) until 2005 the later years in vintage events. He raced in the 1965 US GP at Daytona and finished 6th on a 500cc Norton and the Canadian GP in 1967 where he finished 4th on a 500cc Matchless. Dave lives near London, Ontario and is currently involved in an attempt to break a land speed record at Bonneville later this year with a streamlined Arrow machine. He has also been active with the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame. In 1988 he shipped his GSXR 750 Suzuki to Heathrow Airport, rode it to Heysham, by boat to the Island, removed the lights etc and raced it in the Production event. He replaced the parts and rode it back to Heathrow for the return journey to Canada.
