Biography

Following the disappointment of retiring at Glen Helen on the first lap of the Newcomers 600cc Manx Grand Prix race in 1983 when hoping for a high placement, the 1986 TT races proved much more successful.

Entered in the Formula Two on Tuesday 3rd June and the Production TT Class ‘C’ on Friday 6th June on a Kawasaki GPZ 600R, Charlie from Freuchie, Fife in Scotland completed both races without incident averaging 88.34 mph and 91.39 mph respectively.

He was delighted to have completed in the same Production C race as a certain Joey Dunlop.
