Biography

Alan was born on November 12th 1930, died May 30th 1950 at the IOM, in a practice lap.

He raced successfully at Cadwell Park, and was based in Winterton (at his parents garage).

He raced mainly Norton and Triumph machinery. Alan was 2nd in the 1948 BMCRC Hutchinson 100 Handicap - the silver salver he was presented with records a speed of 85.28 mph!
