Biography
Gary first rode in the 1993 Ultra Lightweight TT, but was forced to retire from the race.
Since that initail ride he won a total of fifteen replicas - ten silver and five bronze.
From Marilin, County Armagh, he stood on the podium in 1999, for third place in the Ultra Lightweight TT behind race winner Ian Lougher and fellow Ulsterman Owen McNally.
Last year, 2000 Gary took ninth place in the Lightweight 250cc TT and fourth in the Ultra Lightweight TT.
Married to Vivien with two sons, Mark and Carl, it turned out to be his last year at the TT Races, for he was fatally injured at a road race meeting in Ireland later in the year.
