Biography

In the 1998 Manx Grand Prix Races Uel finished 12th in both the Junior and Senior Races, and in 1999 he was the fastest qualifier for the Manx, but came off whilst leading the Junior Race. His TT debut in 2000 saw the then steel erector gain another 'double' - 18th in both the Formula One and Senior Races, whilst in the Junior he finished 12th and in the Production Race 24th. A practice accident at the Ulster Grand Prix later in the year resulted in Uel not being able to race again. He now manages a road race team for his former sponsor, Robinson Concrete.
