Biography

From St Annes, David Calwell has won replicas in the Manx Grand Prix races and in 2000 took a finishers award in the Duke Formula 1 Race. He has lapped the course at 106.36mph. David works as a care manager. On short circuits he has won the 1998 Preston &DMCC Championship, along with the ACU North West Formula 600 title on a CBR600. Moving up a class in 1999 David won both the Preston club's and ACU North West Open 1300 Championships on a Yamaha YZF750 machine. The race engines are prepared by Graham Barrows.
