Tony first competed at the TT in 1951 as a member of the official Australian team.

On a 7R AJS, he finished 13th in the Junior at 83.69 mph for a first-class replica. On a Gilera Saturno Sanremo, he retired on the opening lap of the Senior with a broken valve spring.

The following year he rode a Norton - finishing 13th in the Senior at 85.44 mph. His final year was 1954 where he finished 20th in the Junior on a Norton at 81.70 mph.

Tony died at his home in Queensland on 26th September 2005, aged 84.
