Biography

A civil servant, married to Sandra with two children, Martin and Marilyn, Stephen has his son Martin in the 'chair' when they made their debut in the Sidecar Races at the 2000 TT, finishing 44th in the first race, improving to 27th in the second. Riding an Ireson 600cc Honda outfit, the father and son team were second in the British Motorcycle Racing Club's Formula 2 Sidecar Championship, also taking fifth place in the Open Class Championship in 1999.
