Biography

From Dunedin, New Zealand Stuart first rode in the TT in 1997 as part of the John Shand Racing Team. A crash in practice at Baaregarroo ended his TT aspirations for that year, but he was back the following year, finishing in both the Junior and Senior races with average speeds in excess of 108 mph. TT '99 was Stuies last as he was killed on Wednesday 9th June at Gorse Lea on the third lap of the Junior TT. Stuie was a TT fan who got to race.
