Biography

Born in 1961, and ridden motorcycles since the age of eight years old, visiting the Island on many occasions as a young spectator of the Manx was an annual event.

David’s lifetime ambition was achieved in 1990, when he completed both the Newcomers and the Senior Manx Grand Prix races.

The memory of Ian Poyser should also be remembered, as David’s friend, support and mechanic, sadly lost his life just weeks before this event in a motorcycle road accident.

At present he is a lecturer of motorcycle general maintenance and has created a Web Site designated to support this area of study “Motorcyclenvq.com”
