Biography

Hermano Sobral is the only Portuguese rider ever to compete in the TT Races. As a newcomer, he qualified his 250 well for the Junior, so much that the organisers didn''t want to allow him to start. Eventually, he convinced them, but the bike broke the shock absorber in the jump, so DNF.

Sobral is from Lisbon and raced between 1973 and 1984, in TZ750 (F750 WC), TZ 250 & 350 mainly.
