Biography
Manfred Stengl of Austria
The photograph shows Manfred Stengl riding his Honda NC30 in the TT-Races in 1990 (I think it shows the coming out of Quarterbridge).
Later on in 1992 he died riding a 750 Suzuki in an accident at the 33rd Milestone. Manfred was a very experienced rider in Austria and what many people don’t know he was a former Olympic Champion (1964) in riding a ludge (double seater).
His profession was a road-building engineer in the mountains around the country of Salzburg his hometown.
