Biography

Anthony Shortland is from Carterton in Oxford and is a field service engineer. Married to Suzanne with a son, Oliver, Anthony won four Manx Grand Prix replicas between 1988 and 1991 then turned his attention to the TT. In the 1998 Singles Race he finished 7th and took 9th place in 1999 winning two replicas. In 2000 he took 37th place in the Junior Race and lapped the course at 103.52mph. He has lapped the course at 108 mph, and his ambition is to finish in the top ten in the 125 TT, the top eight in the 400 Race and lap the course at over 110 mph in the Junior Race.
