Biography
In December 1926 Simcock was reported as "going to England soon on holiday".
Used to ride at the Melbourne Motordrome. Went to the UK in 1927 [April?] and decided to remain indefinitely. He has accepted a position with one of the big car companies who consider the experience gained during his racing career will be of assistance to them at home, and abroad. [Melbourne Age April 1928]
The Advertiser, Tuesday 19/4/32 reported that "The Australian Simcock, established a Hungarian motorcycling record of 236.22 kilometres an hour against the world''s record of 261.4. He returned to England later.
Simcock was the team manager for the Australian Speedway test team in England in the 1940s.
