Duke stand at 2019 Autosport International Show

With Dean Harrison’s TT-race-winning bike and John Holden’s sidecar attracting considerable interest from the 60,000 visitors to the Autosport International Show at the NEC in January, Duke Marketing’s latest promotion of travel packages to the TT has been described as a great success by the company.

Following on from the launch of the first travel venture on the iomtt.com website, the growing group of companies is now marketing inclusive packages and tours to worldwide motorsport events under the Duke Travel brand with the TT as the top draw. Packages and new accommodation offerings at TT 2019 promoted on high definition large screens grabbed the attention of fans, with TT action also shown on the main stage at the world’s premier autosport show.

Over 6,000 fans have already entered a competition to win a trip to the 2019 Isle of Man TT Races and stay at the ground-breaking IOMTT Village. The homepage at duketravel.com expands the successful formula established with IOMTT Travel to cover a broader range of motorsport events, including Le Mans, Formula 1, MotoGP, road racing and much more.

Thanks to membership of the Travel Trust Association, Duke Travel is also able to offer a huge range of holiday and travel products from popular all-inclusive packages to bespoke solutions, individually crafted for discerning travellers.

General Manager Richard Howarth, who has over a decade’s experience in the motorsport travel sector, says he was “blown away” by the reception of the new travel service at the packed Autosport Show: "It's clear that potential customers have been waiting for an offering like this and we’re really looking forward to helping people fulfil their travel ambitions." He added, "the awareness and genuine warmth and loyalty for the brand is huge. We had people on the stand who had been buying from Duke since the early 1980s and they were very interested in the new travel products, especially trips to the TT which is on so many travel ‘bucket-lists’ but can seem quite daunting for newcomers."

CEO Peter Duke said “Creating and marketing travel packages in the powersport market is a natural fit for our company’s expertise and staff but even I have been pleasantly surprised by the reception. With over 2000 visitors already booked with us for TT 2019, we look forward to looking after more customers from the vast worldwide motorsport fanbase. We’re going to be hard at work now to follow up on the exciting leads from the show, whilst developing a range of new products to expand our offering even further. This is a very exciting time for the Duke group of companies.”
