Five race schedule revealed for Thursday
Due to the weather conditions on Wednesday, Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson announced the Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 2 and Bennett's Lightweight TT Race would now be held on Thursday.
Despite a bright start, conditions deteriorated on Wednesday and it had initially been hoped to run the races, albeit over a shorter distance of three laps with a compulsory pit stop after the first lap.
However, rain intensified on the north and west of the Mountain Course and the cloud cover thickened dramatically.
Just before 15:00 Gary Thompson confirmed that the Supersport race had been postponed into Thursday afternoon, when the forecast looks more promising, while the Bennetts Lightweight TT remained on Wednesday's schedule, again reduced to three laps and with a compulsory pitstop at the end of the second lap.
At 18:00 the news was announced that Wednesday's schedule had had to be abandoned due to deteriorating conditions on the mountain.
The schedule below was issued at 18:45 on Wednesday, 5th June.
Five races, shortened to two or three laps with the exception of the SES TT Zero Race, must now fit into a window of just under nine hours.
