Isle of Man based hospitality business, Heron & Brearley has won a new multi-year contract to deliver a revamped official bar experience for race fans at the Isle of Man TT Races Paddock.

Heron & Brearley will deliver the new bar for the TT Races and Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling at a new, bigger location on the festival site, complete with trackside viewing from an open air beer-garden along with an upper deck offering for a bespoke VIP experience.

The extended facility space, which will cover almost 1500m2, will include a bespoke bar structure and stretch tent, live entertainment stage with large screen TVs broadcasting TT highlights and other motorcycle related films. The new venue, which will be called ‘The Trackside’ referencing its new location adjacent to Glencrutchery Road, will also include games stations where race fans can go head-to-head on the official Isle of Man TT console game: TT Ride on the Edge.

As well as a wide range of draught beers and ciders, Heron & Brearley will serve its award winning 1907 Okells TT ale, which was originally crafted to celebrate the centenary of the TT Races in 2007. A premium range of wines, spirits, soft drinks and a hot drinks range provided by quality coffee partner Melitta will complement the H&B Bella Pizza brand.

The Trackside will sit alongside a food court and retail area adjacent to a stunt arena and two official 200 seat Grandstands offering unrivalled views of the race action.

Heron & Brearley is the Isle of Man’s largest and oldest drinks wholesaler. The company can trace its origins back to the Okell’s brewery in 1850, a name that still resonates today with race fans from all over the world.

Di Edington, Heron & Brearley commented:

"We are excited to be bringing a new and improved experience to TT fans for 2018. We will create an authentic TT atmosphere trackside, offering fans an experience they have not been able to access before now. The Trackside will become a hub of activity for race fans and will develop into a TT landmark destination in its own right.”

She continued:

“We are looking forward to unveiling The Trackside at this year’s TT and to welcoming visitors from around the world to the heart of the TT Paddock.”
