The Isle of Man TT Races are coming back. After a two-year hiatus due to the worldwide pandemic, 2022 is set to be a full-on return to form at the home of real road racing.
The organisers have announced a provisional racing schedule, unchanged from 2020, so you can enjoy up to four race days and a total of eight races. Qualifying Week sees the innovative introduction of afternoon qualifying sessions on Sunday 29th May and Friday 3rd June. Otherwise the practice period remains mostly unchanged with sessions taking place in the evenings.
Due to the cancellation of TT 2020 and TT 2021, a large number of fans with holidays booked in those years have moved their visits to 2022, meaning many hotels, campsites and other accommodation providers are already close to capacity.
The Isle of Man Steam Packet released bookings for 2022 sailings in February, and is showing availability on crossings throughout the two week TT period.
Flights are expected to be on sale shortly from regional airports across the UK and Ireland. EasyJet and Aer Lingus provide flights from London and Dublin daily, respectively.
