Manxman Michael Evans backed by Barrow team

The Isle of Man's Michael Evans has confirmed he'll tackle the main solo classes at the TT with Wilcock Consulting Racing.

The Santon local made his TT debut in 2018 with the team, although he was no stranger to the Mountain Course, having taken three wins at the Manx Grand Prix.

'Mikey' will take to the tarmac on BMW equipment for the Superbike and Superstock races and a Honda CBR600RR for the two Supersport events.

The Supertwin class will see Michael supported by Martin Bullock Manxsport on one of the ubiquitous Kawasaki ER6s.

At just 25 he has an enviable record on the Mountain including race records in the Newcomers and Senior Manx Grand Prix, a top twenty finish in his debut TT year and a personal best lap of the 37.73-mile course at 123.614mph.

His main team have an equally impressive TT pedigree having supported leading privateer Dan Stewart for many years. Dan took the Privateers Championship with Barrow-in-Furness based outfit in 2012 and recorded a personal best lap of 129.077mph in 2013.

Wilcock Consulting provide consultancy services for the onshore natural gas industry and owner Graham Wilcock has been involved in the TT paddock for a long time. 

As well as the TT the distinctive black and red on white livery of the team will can be seen at the Pre-TT Classic Road Races on the Billown Circuit and at the Classic TT Races adorning a Kawasaki ZXR750.
