Eight-time TT race winner Charlie Williams will host the RST Classic TT Heroes Dinner on Sunday 26th August during this year’s Classic TT Races presented by Bennetts, which promises to be an intimate evening with some of the greatest names in motorcycle road racing’s long and illustrious history.

Featuring a champagne reception, a luxury four-course meal and unique souvenir gift for all guests, the event takes place at the Official VIP Hospitality Suite - a stone’s throw from the TT podium on which so many of the star names attending have stood.

Riders who have won TT Races across five decades will be among those attending the dinner and sitting shoulder to shoulder with guests.

The line-up of heroes scheduled to attend includes Norton factory rider John McGuinness, with a total of 23 TT Race wins from three different decades, and Sidecar legend Dave Molyneux with 17 wins spanning four decades - between 1989 and 2014. Eleven time TT Race winner Phillip McCallen and Ian Lougher, who first raced the Mountain Course in 1983 and boasts 10 TT Race wins are other riders who feature in the top ten all time winners list who will be on hand to meet fans and share their secrets of TT success.

Charlie Williams himself adds 8 titles to the evening’s roll call of honours - one victory ahead of Mick Grant. Other TT icons at the event include five time winner Brian Reid, double champion Steve Plater and 1993 Formula One TT Race winner Nick Jefferies.

Current TT riders attending include six time winner Michael Rutter, double Supersport Race winner Gary Johnson and Kawasaki’s James Hillier and Dean Harrison, who lit up this year’s TT with a Superbike class lap record and victory in the Supersport Race.

Lee Johnston, Conor Cummins, Josh Brookes, David Johnson, Danny Webb, Derek McGee, Davey Todd, Jamie Coward and Horst Saiger are amongst the other star names from this year’s TT and Classic TT scheduled to attend along with a host of leading names from the TT’s past.
