Michael Dunlop awaits a decision on racing ahead of Wednesday's cancellation

Following the decision to call off the racing scheduled for Wednesday due to bad weather, the programme for Thursday has been announced.

It was supposed to be a rest day at the 2010 Isle of Man TT for teams, riders and fans ahead of Friday’s Dainese Senior TT, but is now planned to run Wednesday’s three postponed races during the day.

The racing on Wednesday was supposed to start at 10.45am with the second Monster Energy Supersport race, but that was delayed due to low-lying cloud. There were further delays due to rain on parts of the course and a decision was made just before 2pm to postpone racing until Thursday.

It is now planned to run the the second Sure Sidecar race, over three laps, at 12.15pm, a practice lap for the Dainese Senior TT at 2.45pm, the one-lap TT Zero race for electric bikes at 4pm and four-lap Monster Energy Supersport 2 race at 6.30pm.

It is expected the Mountain section from Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg-ny-Baa will close at 11am and the rest of the course by 11.30am. The crossing points are due to be opened between 5pm and 6pm.
