It’s fair to say the weather hasn’t exactly played ball this TT. Rain has thrown a few spanners into the schedule, with delays frustrating riders and fans alike.
But despite the downpours, the show has (mostly) gone on - with the second Sidecar TT rescheduled for later in the week (more on that here).
And when the racing has happened, it’s delivered in style, especially for our local heroes. Andreas brothers Ryan and Callum Crowe stormed to victory in the opening Sidecar race, while Laxey’s Dean Harrison claimed the Superstock win on Tuesday evening.
Santon’s Mikey Evans made his 32nd birthday one to remember, securing his first TT podium in the Supertwin race and joining Michael Dunlop on the rostrum. He also clocked up his first 130mph lap - a feat matched by fellow Manx rider Nathan Harrison, who went on to claim a superb fourth in the Superbike race, his best result to date.
So what’s in store for the rest of race week? We’ve spoken to the forecasters about what the skies might hold - see below for the full outlook.
