Red flagged Supersport race to be restarted
The restarted Monster Energy Supersport 1 race is due to get under way at 1pm.
The original race, which started at 10.45am, was red-flagged on lap two after an incident at Gorse Lea.
Race control has confirmed it intends to re-start the race at 1pm and run it over three laps instead of the scheduled four. Anyone who started the original race will be allowed to make the re-start, which means Michael Dunlop, who retired whilst battling Cameron Donald for the lead, and Guy Martin, who slid off at the Creg-ny-Baa, are eligible.
Crossing points will start to re-open from St Ninians at around 16.30 and will remain open until 18.00.
The crossing points and access corridors are as follows: St Ninians Cross Roads, Stoney Rd and Tromode Road, Quarterbridge Through Strang Road, Crosby Crossroads to Ballavitchell Rd, Barregarrow crossroads, Douglas Road Corner Kirk Michael to Faaie ny Cabbal, Ballaugh, Station Road and Glen Road, Sulby Glen Crossroads, Albert Square and Princes Rd (Ramsey Bus station), Lheaney Rd and Barrule Park (Ramsey), Signpost corner and Bedstead Corner, Governors Rd through to second avenue.
Cars and pedestrians can use both access corridors and crossing points. The public are urged to ensure that the crossing points are open before using them.
