Karl Harris to make British Superbike return after Isle of Man TT debut
Fresh from his excellent debut at the 2012 Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy, Karl Harris is set for a high profile return to the British Superbike Championship.
The former British Supersport Champion will race at Brands Hatch this weekend with the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team.
Harris is a previous podium finisher in BSB and is looking forward to joining the grid with the Liverpool-based team.
He said:
“It’s great to be back in BSB, especially on the Brands Hatch GP circuit, and I just want to come back and have a good weekend for the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team.”
“It will be the first time for me on a Kawasaki after years of riding Hondas and Suzukis so it will be a bit of a test to start with as I haven't ridden the Quattro Plant Kawasaki yet.”
“We have seen that the bike has potential and I am glad to be back; I have been watching it at home this season but you sit wishing you could get out there and now I can thanks to the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team.”
Harris, racing as a newcomer at the 2012 TT, finished 21st in the Dainese Superbike race and 28th in the Royal London 360 Superstock TT, achieving best laps in excess of 121mph in both races.
