Isle of Man TT winner Gary Johnson prepared for Macau GP

Isle of Man TT winner Gary Johnson says he feels fully prepared to race at the Macau Grand Prix.
He will race for Quattro Plant Motorsport around the twisting street circuit next month.
Johnson, from Broughton near Brigg, believes his experience of Macau will put him in a good position, and he will be able to help teammate Steve Heneghan, who is making his Macau GP debut.
The pair will ride Honda and Kawasaki machinery respectively under the colours of Heneghan's short-circuit sponsor Quattro.
Johnson said:
“I'm really looking forward to this year's Macau GP running under the Quattro Plant Motorsport banner.”
“I'm going to be the most prepared I've ever been using the few years' experience I've gained so far.”
“I'm hoping I can pass some of my knowledge on to Steve and help him in his newcomer year.”
“Looking at the entry sheet, Michael Rutter has got to be the man to beat, but as always there's a strong field attending, so I hope to improve on the 4th and 5th places I've finished up to now.”
Johnson is feeling upbeat after securing a fighting 11th place in the final round of the National Superstock 1000cc Championship at Brands Hatch on Sunday.
Riding for Samsung Honda, Johnson started from the 5th row of the grid, but was up to 9th at the end of the first lap thanks to a good start.
The race pace was fierce, with riders jostling for position throughout the field on every lap, and Johnson found himself pushed back to 11th at the flag.
However, that gave him another five points, putting him 12th in the championship table on 59.
