The 2012 Duke Road Race Rankings have been dominated by Isle of Man TT riders, with all five top spots going to riders who raced at the TT this year.
For the seventh time, and fifth year in a row, the prestigious Geoff Duke Trophy has been won by Ryan Farquhar.
Farquhar won the inaugural SuperTwin event at the 2012 TT in what proved to be his last season of racing, as he announced his retirement during the Manx Grand Prix. That third TT win combined with his remarkable success at other meetings ensured he toped the rankings again.
Farquhar finished ahead of fellow three-times TT winner Michael Dunlop, who edged out brother William. Guy Martin finished fourth, with Jamie Hamilton, one of the star newcomers of the 2012 TT, taking fifth.
Former and current TT regulars rounded out the top 10, with Chris Palmer, Dean Harrison, Ivan Lintin, Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness all enjoying strong showings.
The 27-round rankings, the only championship-style table which measures performance across a range of national and international road racing events like the TT, came to a finish at the Macau Grand Prix.
Michael Rutter’s victory there moved him up four places into 25th. Other TT racers saw their positions improved thanks to racing at the street circuit, including Simon Andrews, Conor Cummins, Gary Johnson and Dan Kneen.
It has already been confirmed that the 2013 Duke Road Race Rankings, the 12th running, will start on April 21 at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough, with the Ian Watson Spring Cup.
The full schedule is yet to be announced, but the 2013 TT is expected to be included.
