Northern Ireland's Stephen Thompson is riding for thepeoplesbike.com team for the 2013 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy.

The Antrim rider made his TT debut in 2010 for the team, finishing 26th in the Senior TT but two DNF's in his 2012 Isle of Man campaign mean that his highest finish to date is the 16th place he secured in the 2011 Dainese Superbike race. He has a fastest lap to date of 122.671mph (18:27.25) around the course, which he set in the 2011 Royal London 360 Superstock Race.

Riding the J B Engineering backed Suzuki 1000, Stephen will compete in the Dainese Superbike and PokerStars Senior TT Races on the ex Taz machine.  Stephen will ride his own BMW1000 for the Monster Energy Supersport races and compete the Lightweight race on the Kawasaki twin.

Mark Cubbon, team boss of 'thepeoplesbike.com' commented:

"Since TT 2009 our unique teams of Road Racing enthusiasts have launched the TT careers of Steve Mercer, Stephen Thompson and Dan Hegarty. This has only been possible because of the small sponsorship packages sold through our website to racing fans."

We'd like to say a massive 'thank you' to all of you who have sponsored thepeoplesbike over the last 4 years. We hope you enjoyed your interaction with the team and felt part of the greatest road race on earth.

The team awning will be open to all sponsors between 12 noon until the end of practice or racing that day. Everyone is guaranteed a warm welcome and will have the opportunity to chat with the team and rider over a brew or a beer."

The team T-shirt, cap and signed photo will be posted to team sponsors anywhere in the world. During practice and race week the team will be tweeting live from the paddock and grid. Photographs will be posted daily on the team's facebook page and website.

The opportunity to support the team without becoming an official sponsor is also available by clicking the sponsor icon on the team's website at www.thepeoplesbike.com. All donations no matter how small are gratefully received.
