After the disappointing weather on Tuesday, Gary Johnson and the Valmoto MV Agusta team are looking forward to tonight’s first timed practice session.

Gary, who had his first competitive run out on the MV at the North West 200, says “ The bike has unlimited potential, its constantly developing”.

Gary went onto say about the MV Agusta “ It’s a strong bike with good power, ” MV Agusta’s rich heritage at the Isle of Man TT bodes as a good omen for Gary and the Valmoto team.

For Valmoto MV Agusta team owner Jack Valentine being back at the Isle of Man TT brings back fond memories of when his team took TT wins in 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003.

The most recent TT win for the Valmoto came in the 2003 junior TT race when the team ran Bruce Anstey on a factory spec 675 Triumph Daytona. Jack and the rest of the Valmoto team are hopeful that this year they can work the same magic with the MV Agusta as they did with the Triumph.

Both Gary Johnson and Jack Valentine believe in the potential of the MV Agusta to be a race winner around the Isle of Man,

and like TT heroes Giacomo Agostini and Phil Read both will be hoping that this year’s Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy brings them some silverware.
