Dunlop tops Road Race Rankings after TT 2013
With four wins from five starts at the 2013 Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy it's no surprise Michael Dunlop currently tops the Duke Road Race Rankings.
The Ulsterman took wins in the Dainese Superbike TT, both Monster Energy Supersport races and the Royal London 360 Superstock race. With 980 points the Ballymoney man is 450 points ahead of his nearest rival.
John McGuinness, thanks to his win in the Senior, three thirds and a fourth has jumped up the rankings from 60th to fifth place behind Jamie Hamilton.
Guy Martin's climbed to second overall, fifty five points up on third place man Bruce Anstey. The Kiwi scored podiums in the Senior and both Supersport races, a fifth in the Superstock and eighth in the Superbike race despite suffering from a heavy chest infection.
Dean Harrison continued his great form so far this season with top ten positions in most of the races he finished including a second in the BikeSocial.co.uk Lightweight TT and a fourth in the Royal London Superstock race. His TT performance has secured him in sixth, behind John McGuinness.
James Hillier who scored his first TT win in the lightweight race now sits in seventh, ahead of Chris Palmer, Michael Pearson and William Dunlop who has moved up six places to tenth.
Cameron Donald makes a new entry into fourteenth place, while Steve Mercer makes his first appearance this year on the leader board at forty-fifth.
Michael Rutter had a great TT recording solid finishes in all of his races as well as completing his first 130mph laps and has moved up to 16th position.
Manx Man Conor Cummins moves up to 21st, one place behind Gary Johnson but ahead of Gary's Lincolnshire compatriot Ivan Lintin in 22nd.Celebrating his final year competing at the TT Ian Lougher has moved up to 35th place.
