Riders are preparing for the first race day at the 2014 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy with two races scheduled for today: the Dainese Superbike and Sure Sidecar Race 1.

Michael Dunlop on the BMW is the fastest Superbike qualifier with last night's 131.501, his fastest lap of the TT Course and is the pre-race favourite but with Guy Martin (130.860), Bruce Anstey (130.102) in close proximity not to mention twenty time TT winner John McGuinness, Honda Racing's Conor Cummins, Gary Johnson, who clocked over 130 on his Superstock machine last night,  Kawasaki rider James Hillier and Tyco Suzuki's William Dunlop, it's the most open Superbike race for years. Fans will also be tracking Milwaukee riders Ian Hutchinson and last year's fastest newcomer Josh Brookes and will be listening out for Australian Cameron Donald as he powers the Norton round the course.

The action gets underway at 11.00 (BST) and you can keep up to date with everything that's happening on the track with the TT Live Timing Service and Manx Radio TT's on-line commentary.

Later on today (14.00) it's the Sure Sidecar Race 1 and all eyes will be on Manx Racer 16 time champion Dave Molyneux and passenger Patrick Farrance as they try to get back to winning ways on the TT Mountain Course.

They'll be chased all the way by last year's race winners the Birchall Brothers and Tim Reeves who this year has Greg Cluze as his passenger. 2011 winners John Holden/Andy Winkle have also shown a return to form and will be looking to get back on the podium after a lean year last year.
