Isle of Man TT fuelled by Monster Energy gets a shot in the arm today with a three race schedule set to deliver action an excitement on the sunniest day of the event so far.

The activity kicks off at 10.45am with the one lap SES TT Zero race which has an added interest for fans after the late of Guy Martin riding for injured team mate William Dunlop.

Guy takes over the #6 Victory EMEA machine and rides alongside yesterday’s RL360° Superstock third place finisher Lee Johnston.

Although Guy only has two laps under his belt on the electric machine he has clocked a best of 108mph+ which could easily see him in contention for a podium position.

Johnston meanwhile pushed his fastest lap on the sister machine to Guy’s to over 110mph, an excellent effort both for him and Victory team who are making their TT debut.

However, John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey will be the ones to watch in the TT Zero challenge, Both have lapped his year in excess of 115mph and John unofficially broke the zero emissions lap record at over 118mph.

Following the TT Zero the riders will have less than an hour before getting back on track for the Monster Energy Supersport Race 2.

Four laps of closely fought action can be expected but will we see a repeat of Monday’s result that saw Ian Hutchinson take his first TT win in five years?

If Hutchy wants to make it three wins in a week (after also taking the RL360° Superstock race title) he will have his work cut out. Guy Martin, Gary Johnson, Lee Johnston and James Hillier have all been knocking at the door this week and you can be sure that John McGuinness, Conor Cummins, Bruce Anstey and the rest won’t be hanging back.

Following his second place in the Superstock race on Tuesday Michael Dunlop has confirmed he will sit out today’s race in order to concentrate his efforts for Friday’s Blue Riband PokerStars Senior.

The action for the Monster Energy Supersport Race 2 gets underway at 12.00.

At 2.15 this afternoon the 2015 Isle of Man TT comes to a head for the sidecar class as Sure Sidecar Race 2 gets underway.

This promises to be a record-breaking clash as the Birchall brothers, who set the second fastest sidecar lap of all-time on Monday, look to hold off determined opposition from Holden/Sayle and Harrison/Aylott as well as Tim Reeves and his passenger Patrick Farrance whose outfit failed on Monday.

Dave Molyneux and Benjamin Binns suffered a collapsed rear wheel bearing whilst leading Monday’s sidecar opener so they will be looking to put the disappointment behind them when they take to the course.

With the strongest field in years it is guaranteed to be a classic ding-dong battle all the way to the line.

Following the Sidecar race there will qualifying laps for Friday’s Lightweight and Senior races.

Once the roads are clear from qualifying the mighty Kawasaki H2R will take to the course for the WSBK parade lap – cover your ears, it is going to be loud!
