Wednesday qualifying to run to schedule
Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson has confirmed Wednesday night's qualifying session will start on the planned schedule.
The weather is forecast to deteriorate as the evening proceeds and Gary confirmed that a contingency plan, developed earlier in the day, may have to be implemented if low cloud obscured the Mountain Section.
The plan would see riders on the track to Ramsey in normal qualifying conditions, before being red-flagged at Ramsey and brought back over the mountain section in speed-controlled convoys.
They would then be reformed at parc ferme before proceeding back on to the TT Mountain Course to Ramsey once more.
The schedule, as it stands, is:

18.20 to 19.40 Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers (All Classes except Lightweight) Qualifying
19.45 to 20.40 Sidecars
20.40 to 20.50 TT Zero 1 lap practice
