The Yorkshireman praised his engineering crew for dialing in the CBR600RR chassis to handle Scarborough’s infamous bumps and tree-line shadows.

Peter Hickman Positive After Intensive Dual-Class Outing at Oliver’s Mount
Despite being denied top honours by Harrison, Peter Hickman enjoyed an exceptionally productive outing at Oliver's Mount aboard both his Swan Racing Triumph and PHR Performance Supertwin machines. Hickman collected four runner-up finishes in the middleweight ranks alongside back-to-back third-place podiums in the Supertwin encounters.
Hickman noted that competing on Scarborough's natural parkland roads offered vital, real-time chassis data for his performance division. The multi-time TT lap record holder confirmed his team will utilize the setup insights gained from Scarborough as they refine their big-bike baseline ahead of the Macau street race.
Peter Hickman: "We came to Oliver’s Mount to put on a show for the fans and to test a few subtle setup changes on the Triumph and Twin. Racing wheel-to-wheel through the trees with Dean is always mega fun. We didn't quite have the edge to get past him in the feature, but the chassis felt fantastic, and we're in a great spot moving toward our winter program."

The European natural road racing scene concluded its 2026 campaign over the weekend with the 63rd running of the Frohburger Dreieck road races in Saxony, Germany. Serving as the traditional final round of the International Road Racing Championship (IRRC), the 2.98-mile triangular road circuit saw intense battles across the Superbike and Supersport divisions.
German roads veteran David Datzer delivered a standout performance on his MTR BMW, securing a dominant double victory in the open Superbike encounters ahead of Come Geenen and Laurent Hoffmann, capping off a successful late-summer stretch that included a strong showing at the Armoy Road Races in Antrim.
