Peter Hickman Targets Outright Motorcycle Land Speed Record with GreyhoundLSR

Isle of Man TT lap record holder Peter Hickman has embarked on a daredevil new motorsport chapter after officially committing to chase the two-wheeled outright land speed record with British engineering project GreyhoundLSR. The 14-time TT winner aims to exceed the 400mph barrier, eclipsing the existing world record of 376.363mph set by Rocky Robinson back in 2010.

The streamlined, ultra-aerodynamic machine is powered by twin turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa engines developed in partnership with Horsepower Factory. Hickman has already completed initial seat fittings, contorting his tall frame into the enclosed, laid-back cockpit ahead of initial runs.

Peter Hickman: "It’s completely different to anything I’ve ever done before—you're completely enclosed, lying almost flat on your back, and relying entirely on aerodynamic stability and pure horsepower. The target of breaking 400mph is mind-blowing, but the engineering team behind GreyhoundLSR is top-tier. When the opportunity came up to be the guy behind the handlebars, I couldn't say no."

Superbike Sea Freight Departs for 58th Macau Grand Prix

International road racing logistics have entered their final phase as shipping containers carrying premier Superbike and Superstock machinery depart European ports bound for the 58th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix (19–22 November 2026).

The 3.8-mile Asian street track will once again host the international curtain-closer. The entry roster features an impressive mix of seasoned winners and high-profile debutants, including Northern Ireland's Dean McMaster (Air NI Racing), European Series champion Fedrik Matthys (BMW M1000RR), and Irish road racer Kevin Keyes (Daracore Racing Honda), alongside street-racing regulars Michael Evans and Maurizio Bottalico.

Maria Costello MBE Vows Defiant Comeback Following TT Recovery

Trailblazing female road racer Maria Costello MBE has issued an inspiring update to supporters as she continues her rehabilitation following a high-speed crash on the Mountain Course during the summer.

Costello, who has undergone intensive physical therapy over recent months, expressed immense gratitude to medical staff while confirming her determination to return to competitive tarmac once fully healed.

Maria Costello MBE: "Recovery is a long and challenging process, but my heart is still firmly in road racing. I’m working closely with my physio team every single day, and the goal remains crystal clear. I want to thank every fan who has sent messages of support—it gives me the fuel to fight every day to get back to what I love."

John McGuinness MBE Claims Thrilling Goodwood Revival Podium

Twenty-three-time Isle of Man TT winner John McGuinness MBE proved his timeless racecraft over the weekend by securing a hard-fought podium finish in the prestigious Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy at the Goodwood Revival.

Riding vintage 1960s 500cc machinery on the historic Sussex layout, McGuinness engaged in a classic wheel-to-wheel duel against short-circuit contenders and road racing regulars, handling changing weather conditions to take a popular top-three finish.

John McGuinness MBE: "Racing at Goodwood is always an absolute privilege. The noise, the atmosphere, and getting to slide those classic 500s around on skinny tyres against proper competition is second to none. Taking a trophy home after a battle like that just caps off a brilliant weekend."

2027 Isle of Man TT Schedule and Technical Rules Review Underway

Off the track, representatives from the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU) and event organizers are finalizing technical reviews for the 2027 Isle of Man TT regulations.

Following extensive paddock consultations during the summer, minor adjustments to Next Generation Supersport, Supertwin, and Sidecar division rules are being finalized to maintain performance parity and control privateer entry costs ahead of winter testing restrictions.
